I work across the boundaries other people organize around.
I’m Gerd Saurer, a product leader and hands-on engineer based in Vienna. Across more than two decades, I’ve worked in software engineering, enterprise sales, partnerships, and product management.
That perspective is grounded in both technology and organizational change: I hold an MSc in Computer Science and an Executive MBA in Leadership and Change Management.
Today I’m focused on Microsoft Fabric, agentic systems, and the practical question behind every technology shift: how do we turn new capability into something people actually need?
